ORGANIZATION OF STUDIES

In the European LMD system (license-master-doctorate),

the studies are organized in teaching units which, once obtained,

give rise to the award of points called ECTS (European Credits Transfer System).

Each validated semester gives the right to 30 ECTS.

Six semesters are needed for a license (i.e. 180 credits) and four additional semesters

for a master's degree (i.e. 300 credits in total).

Training in medicine, pharmacy and engineering degrees

follow a different scheme of the LMD system.

FREE TEACHING UNIT

Each semester, you have the possibility of following a free teaching unit (UEL).
